Recruitment is currently OPEN. Please check this thread often as it will be edited when recruitment status changes. Also, please do not apply if the status says closed. You will be auto denied if this happens.




APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

(( In Character ))

  1. Must be 18 years old or more.
  2. Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  3. Must be active.
  4. Must be able to write and speak understandable English.
  5. Must possess a valid driving license.
  6. Must be physically and mentally fit.
  7. Must follow the all the instructions given during the LSFMD Recruitment Process.
  8. Must have no more than 4 crimes per level.


(( Out of Character ))

  1. Must be able to roleplay well.
  2. Must be able to know all OOC and IC rules.
  3. Must be able to demonstrate ability and knowledge in roleplay and server rules.
  4. Recommended to read parts of the handbook.


(( OOC Rules for Applications ))

  1. Application must be atleast 200 words long.
  2. Application must have good English including grammar.
  3. Must have atleast 8 playing hours on the server.
  4. Everything that is shown must be filled out, including the timezones and stats.





RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The Department Probationary Program of the Los Santos Fire & Medical Department has a vigorous but effective recruitment process, the whole process takes about two weeks on average. It consists of four phases. Our Human Resources Bureau is capable of turning average American citizens of today, into brave and valorous paramedics of tomorrow. NOTE: Reinstatement applications do not follow this recruitment process.

I. Application
The first step you have to take if you would like to join the LSFMD is applying. You just have to take an application form from the LSFMD website, fill it up, and submit it to us. This is your first impression on us, your application needs to be as good as possible if you want to set a good impression on yourself. If we think your application is good enough, you will be able to go on to the second phase.


II. Interview
During this step you will be going to complete a formal interview with one of the Human Resources Officers. The interview will consist of a variety of questions ((including OOC and server rules)). After this interview is completed. The officer will post on your application on whether you've passed or not. If you've passed then you continue to the next phase.


III. Assignment
When reaching this phase, you will be assigned to the Department Probationary Program by a Captain or higher. You will be learning about the department full-time and may be a part of some operations. This assignment will also act as your training. As a part of the training you would be required to take ride-alongs with more experienced members of the department until an Human Resources Officer or you think that you're ready, in which case you will complete a short test to prove it. Then have the permissions to continue and ride by yourself.


IV. Graduation
Once you have completed your training and your examination, you will graduate to a full-time Paramedic into Ground Services. If you are still not sure of what to do at this time, patrol with a more experienced staff and learn more from them.
